Naughty Gnome!

Rightio, so I keep promising to put up new posts and new photos but being the busy (lazy?) gnome that I am, I will promise it again and hope that within the next few days I get my act together.

I have been & gone on a fantastic trip to Fiji. Wonderful people, wonderful place. Just gorgeous. But for now, you will have to take my word on it.

I am currently in Chile, South America where all those miners came out of the tunnel rather successfully. That was certainly an amazing thing to see.

I have also signed up to a fun site called Postcrossing. Basically you sign up and are assigned an address in which to send a postcard, once it's been recieved and logged, someone else is given my details and I will recieve one. I'm hoping to recieve postcards from far away places in this great big wide world.

Speak soon!

Let the Frequent Flying begin!

It never occured to me to use my Frequent Flyer points. I am , after all, a traveling gnome. Hence, I should use my points to.....errrr.........travel! Derrrrr!!

So before the year is out, I have decided I will be visiting the following places:

Melbourne, Australia
Nadi, Fiji
Gold Coast, Australia
Santiago, Chile

It's a nice diverse bunch of places I will be visiting and I can't wait.

My first visit being to Melbourne next week. I can't wait to visit all the fun and quirky shops and to sit down for a latte and watch the trams go by.

And maybe after that, I will do a touristy tour of Sydney, something which I had been planning to do for a while now.

See you soon

How time flies!

Wow! Where has the time gone? I haven't posted in MONTHS! As you can imagine, things can be a little quiet for garden gnomes. Haven't been on holidays in a while. I think it's time for a road trip or two!
Let's see what happens over these next few weeks.
I'll keep you posted :)

I Heart Sydney

Over the next couple of weeks, I've decided I'm going to play tourist in my beautiful city of Sydney.

After getting plenty of gnomey beauty sleep, I jumped on the train and made my way to Circular Quay. This is the home of the spectacular Sydney Opera House and where you get fantastic views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Sydney was at its best yesterday - clear blue skies, sun shining brightly (I always wear my sunscreen of course!) and happy people out & about.

The only downer for me - my favourite ice-cream shop Baskin Robbins was closed . Boo!
I'm hooked. They make the yummiest ice-creams around. Mmmmm......drool!!!!

So I will keep you posted. I'll be visiting Sydney Taronga Zoo and making fun trips on the ferry and lots more!

Keep smiling!!

Ha Ha Ha

Do you think these glasses suit me?! tee hee hee

I like being silly sometimes.
I will never pass up the chance for a good old belly laugh.
Good thing I'm easily amused!
